News just coming through that Marwan Koucash has been declared bankrupt. Shocker that, thought he had a few quid.

IF it's true that he's picked Leigh over us, then I'd say I'm more relieved in that he's obviously not the character we'd want.

Chester used to play at the same community club around the time his family were involved in the club so potentially a bit more personal contact, maybe a dream sold and £ are the driver.

Much as he was a character and put RL in the papers for a bit, i was never sure about his wealth

i know of at least 2 situations where he wasnt paying people for their services not including the well documented issues with former 1st team player(s). Not massive amounts of money, but, whether he thought he was running a big business and could get away with late / non-payment or not, i'm not sure.

There was 1 of those instances that caused a delay to a TV game, and the game was off until he paid what he owed

He is going through a divorce and I think there could have been some creative accounting to soften the blow
