It’ll be ok anyway because I’m sure I remember a certain ‘fountain of all knowledge’ Saints fan (pretending to be a Wire fan) saying they’ll have Lewis Murphy or Tom Davies in 2024.

Not seen any comments, but agree with you in terms of him impressing more than Ritson does.

Ritson's "puppy diving into water for the first time" attempts at a tackle after a good chase back are comedy gold though so I applaud the signing and Saints' commitment to making the world a funnier place

Not exactly sure why they're resigning him tbh. There must be better wing options who wouldn't cost the earth? Maybe he'll come good. I can only imagine that the Saints coaching staff have seen potential there as, at the moment, he seems woefully out of his depth.

The negative for him is that he has been playing outside of different centres most weeks on the left. Percival has been inured and Hopoate has played there with Davies for the odd game too. If he had played on the right all season outside Hurrell I think he would have scored quite a few tries as Makinson has done.

This season our attack has been heavily right side dominant and the left side has barely had a look in. Normally with a lot of teams its the other way round. I think with Makinson still missing for a few more games he may find himself on the right hand side.

Bennison got 5 in 9 compared to Ritson 2 in 10 (I think) playing the same side. I don't think the side of the field is the problem more his positioning

So... some mis-understanding on my part.

It seems like two of your new signings (announced later in the year) will be front-rowers.
