Right from the start of his time at Wigan, Mago seemed to be limping in a way very similar to George Burgess. Whether that's an injury or not I don't know and the club wouldn't admit it if it was after the Burgess fiasco. Cardio obviously very poor as well and ultimately he's another very poor signing in the forwards.

I can see him getting plenty of game time next year when Leeming/O’Neill are injured or banned. (Assuming Powell is moved on).

Widnes seem in a bit of a free fall currently, I noticed Eckersely didn’t play this weekend, is he injured? Or not getting picked on form?

Looks like he will be starting. Johnstone has gone to Cas. The Championship is an unforgiving league. He will learn a lot in a short space of time. Will do him the world of good. Hopefully he can shake them up a bit and make a name for himself.

Also, this has nothing to do with any rumour or transfer but for anybody interested, there is a channel on youtube called 'Shauns rugby league vids' i came across it at the weekend, there are stacks of full Wigan games from the 80's and 90's, good old Beeb coverage with Ray French. It's absolute bliss. Think he is a Yorkshiremon but iv'e just e-mailed him asking for more.

Lachlan Fitzgibbon confirmed to Wire. Kind of signing I’d have liked for us, big experienced back rower (although seems to be a left sided player).



Would have complimented our young pack.





Not the kind of player I think Wire would want though another 30+ year old Aussie.

Decent signing. It all depends who we have recruited though.

I have a feeling the player they are trying to get sorted will be Owen Farrell, Now I'm not in the know like Dan, it's just a sneaky feeling

If they feel Widnes are in a bad place then I think going elsewhere would be for the best but it makes no sense that they have just sent Forber there if they feel that.
