Dom looked capable of being a truly World Class winger and for me Marshy has proven himself to be a trophy winning winger on a number of occasions.

I can’t disagree with any of that, I just thought that Davies was better suited to our style of play. Manfredi at his peak was good enough to play in most NRL teams.

I'm still staggered that Wigan let him go although I appreciate they didn't really want to. I know for a fact exactly how highly regarded he was as a junior. Wigan didn't think they stood a chance when they met with him and his Dad, it was almost a tick box exercise as they fully expected him to sign for Leeds given him and his family were Leeds fanatics.

He was bowled over after speaking to Wigan and chose them over his boyhood club. I was also told at the time of his signing that he would be as good as SOL and Andy Farrell such was his potential.

Was against Saints, one of those totally innocuous looking tackles you see a hundred times in a match and he didn't get up from it, all credit to him for the recovery he's made

I’d have him back personally.

I’d take him back in a heartbeat if there was any truth in it. It was a silly move! To go to a club with a poor history of youth development was one thing, but when that club is being coached by Daryl Powell, it’s double daft.

He’s a cracking player and will only get better and better. I just can’t see that ever being back with us sadly.

It certainly wasnt handled very well

Dom manfredi !! What a winger, was gutted for him having to retire early and it was the only defeat to Wigan in a gf I was not angry about, applauded on the inside for his two trys. Would have liked us to have scored two more ourselves but that's life !! And he is a reason we should not be mad at any player wanting to go to the NRL, it's a career that can be cut short early and for what they do on a weekly basis most are not paid enough! We should be angry at the system they are in where clubs cannot afford to offer our players decent wages because of the money they are allowed to spend.

I always liked Marshall over Davies from early on when both wingers got 3/4 trys each in a game against us and we're both relatively new to your side. I just think Marshall had that ability to know where the line was and get the ball over the line, everything else could be coached tom Davies a lot of his main qualities were what can be coached if that makes sense, which I think he suited you style early on but Marshall just had that X factor about him and I think is very underrated in comparison to some in super League

I've been told that a lot of the unhappy players will get their way for next season today also from reliable source.
