Not sure if I would have him back. He is for sure an outstanding talent but how he left us has left a particularly bad taste. Even if we could get him back I suspect that our 2024 cap is already spoken for with the announcements already made and hopefully a few more still to be announced. Interesting times
If Nicholson wanted back I don't think there should be any vendetta from the fans or Wigan preventing it happening at some stage. It felt at the time like a rash decision from an impatient young player but he was entitled to make it. The problem is he's now contractually committed to Warrington for 3-4 years, I'd be amazed if Wigan would pay a transfer fee for him and Warrington are hardly in a position where they can simply hold the door open for him.
