No, why would you think that? For a club famous for its excellent support, in perhaps the most interesting WCC for some time, I would expect more than figures to be limping towards the 10,000 mark, and to not have desperate, and IMO, inaccurate, comparisons to Leeds' figures from last season in order to justify this.
Aahheeemmm!
Official RFL statement in WEP last night.
Sales are double what they were for this time last year?
Link anyone?

Quite probably. Depends when the ticket stock comes in from the RFL to print them on (different stock because of different match sponsors etc).

Yer I have since found out that was true, but only due to the woefully poor sales last year. Good to hear sales are picking up.

We've done it for the last few years with the one-off shirts we've had to wear in France because of gambling laws.
First season was Whizz Kids and second was Marie Curie Cancer Research I think.

oh yeh, i remember hearing about that, but those are just shirts, these could be historical shirts for wigan fans if things go according to plan on the night, and they could raise heaps!

True. Suppose if say Sam Tomkins scores the winning try then a shirt like that could go for a fortune.
We auctioned GF shirts off as well I think?

It said on the radio tonight that the WCC kit will be a limited edition of 1,500 shirts and the proceeds will go to the Australian Flood Fund. Nice touch.
