Good news but I was hoping more towards the 6 week mark to be honest. From what I know about Amos he will certainly keep himself fit while he is out as best he can...

8 weeks away counting this week ends when we play Castleford, so he could be back for Wakefield the week after...ironic So glad its not a break, his stats this year speak for itself. Meanwhile we still have players like Phelps, Pat, Goulding, Ainscough. Good times.

I can't remember *EVER* being this pleased to hear that one of our players will be out for 8 weeks with cruciate ligament damage and that another might miss this week with a badly bruised foot.

I know that I shouldn't be celebrating these injuries, but oddly I find myself doing exactly that, with a HUGE smile on my face today.

still a bad injury tho i know loads of lads whos had this injury and its as good or some times worse than break but i hope he recovers well like it says on the site they will find out today wht rehab he needs could come out that it might take longer than 8 weeks , i dont know how they can say 8 weeks when they only look at this today

He may well have been banned for 8 weeks for eye gouging anyway

He had another scan late last night and they are still awaiting the results as of 2pm today.
There is still the possibility that it could require surgery rather than let Mother Nature take it's course but I am led to believe the 8 weeks is the Longer of the estimates if surgery is needed (That's back in training BTW not actually playing!).
