Its still early days. I don't think the short off season helps. If the standard of rugby is still average in 8 or 9 weeks fine I think then we should start asking questions.

i usually watch sky with the sound off and put the radio on. when you compare it's amazing how little stevo knows about the modern game and eddie knows about the game in general.

Union teams can generally take the ball to the line pass or take contact, we now seem incapable of both these skills let alone draw a man or create space for a player which is so much harder in union.

england and france were the two teams that performed worst at the world cup. some of the rugby played by australia, new zealand, samoa, fiji, ireland was great.

England were shiz, but I thought some of the skill on show in the RLWC was of a high standard. I don't think its fair to judge the quality of the whole world cup on the performance of England.

This is correct against quality opposition ie each other the rest was eye catching rugby at a poor standard lacking any real quality that was entertaining.

thats like judging the six nations on the performances of italy (embarassing), scotland (boring) and england (clueless)...
