Jon Wilkin raised a good point yesterday, why don't they do what RU do, sin bin the player and it gives 10 minutes to review the decision, if it is bad, the card gets changed, and the player cant return. it takes the crowd out of the equation, and allows refs to take time to decide if its a red or not.

its not perfect but if they make a mistake its a sin bin at worst

The problem is, that by the letters of the law that red card last night was technically the correct decision so the outcome would have been the same in that instance.

If the players are all for the rules and really worried about head damage , why aren't they wearing skull caps ? Lomax seems worried enough to wear one due to previous injuries , but the other 99% are too stupid for their own good ?

This will kill the game , for now I am done watching .

A lot of people haven't worked out yet that when someone comes along with money and does things for your safety and to protect you , its usually not going to be for your own good .

The line you always hear with scrum caps though is that they do nothing to protect the brain, they’ll just stop things like cuts and bruises.

Alcohol also damages the brain and most players drink it , if you look at the madness over the last 4 years , this is just more of the same .

You need to wear a mask if you stand up , but you can take it off sat down , if your on a plane then you need to wear it sat down but not standing up , but you can take it off if your eating .

A man can now be a woman just by declaring it .

Rugby league is on the slippery slope .

Fast forward 10 years and rugby might be declared too dangerous , so we just need to stay at home and play it using VR goggles.

How on earth was that Wigan try in the second half allowed! even though i have always been a Wigan fan i think refs are playing to the crowds! tonights game should have been played at neutral venue with a neutral refs :READING:

Easy , you give the on field try , show a couple of inconclusive angles , award the try and then try and mickey off most fans by showing the angle which showed he wasn’t over the line . Amazing how the commentators didn’t mention this…

Back on the topic of head high tackles tonight proved you can have a tough, exciting & attritional game of rugby league without head high tackles if players concentrate and get heir technique right.

If the game can continue to thrive in Australia (and it is doing), I see no reason why it can't thrive here too.
