I think a bit of emotional intelligence is needed here and certainly not the time to throw the toys out of the pram as you know some will do. I was pleased with how the fans generally got behind the team - particularly in the second half. The lads have been brilliant over the last year and won every trophy you can win so they deserve support now we're having a blip.It was a poor performance - it was never going to be pretty tonight but if we were going to have a chance we needed to be very solid and keep errors to a minimum. We did the opposite of that right from the start with the Byrne error and it was an uphill struggle from that point.
Warrington did a good job of exposing Farrimond who had a very tough night that he'll learn from. With French and Keighran out and Nsemba/Farrimond inexperienced we were very vulnerable there.
The injury to O'Neill is rough news - looks like it's Leeming and Forber going forward. We'll have to see if we can scrape enough wins to stay in the top 2 fight before Field and French come back but ultimately it's all about timing and who gets into the playoffs with the fittest squad and in the best form.
