Just noticed the Latics banner - what shows your support for the club more than a banner about a team in a completely different sport?

Can you imagine the moaning we would see if someone at a latics game had the same banner but with a rugby badge?

The skulls symbolise support beyond the grave, undying love for the club (hence the Cherry and White bar scarf). They aren't intended as an intimidating symbol, we took onboard the critisicism of the image and made it more "Wigan-esque" with the addition of the flat cap and pipe, a little tongue in cheek representation of our Northern roots, the text "Northern And Proud" speaks for itself! A skull itself isn't necessarily related to Wigan, but neither is the image of a Warrior ;) As for the Skull and Crossbones, it's simply an iconic and popular image that has been adapted with the lions face to make it relevant to our logo, it's bold and stands out.

No, your just hooligans that shame this rugby league club, your also Nazi's.

Personally I cant see the opinions of a few tools on this thread actually effecting what the Brigantes do in terms of displays, we have 10,000 season ticket holders, 10 people's opinions on here are quite irrelevant. Just keep picking out the bad points rather than appreciating the hard work and the displays, its hilarious.

If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.

Who are the tools? Oh sorry, can we not give some constructive feedback to your precious little group??

Personally as many have tirelessly said on the thread I like what the Brigantes are trying to do, the flags are brillant and the atmosphere is improving at home matches.

What I do not see the point in is the Brigantes image trying to class themselves as an "Ultra" with skulls etc and plastering stickers all over opposing clubs grounds and acting the big ones about it on twitter. This has been tirelessly made clear by a few posters but it seems that rather than take it on the chin you take the negative approach and call them 'tools.'

Get a grip ffs.

Tis my view that most of the people who attend the game just not see the group as in anyway intimidating. "Tools" is of course too strong a word, but the people who regularly post the negatives can hardly be taken as representatives of Wigan fans as a whole, or indeed posters on this site as a whole.
