It's not in the same context.
The whole setting for a rugby game and your 'team' is different to that of the theatre and an 'act' - So, that's why it's different. I couldn't relate the two - and to be honest mate, this is going off course now.
If I went watching an act at a concert, say the arctic monkeys for example, and I had the loyalty for the arctic monkeys as I do for Wigan, then yes, I'd still applaud them regardless, because that's what a loyal fan does... I wouldn't boo them, I'd applaud them, and have the faith in them.
Just like I have faith in Wigan, I wouldn't judge them, boo them off, leave early whether it be after 1 game or 8 games... It's just not something you do to a team you follow.

Why should Wigan RL or whomever be any different? Does it not make you gullible if your behaviour is dictated by blind loyalty. The nearest one should get to blind loyalty is your family and to put a sporting team on the same pedastal seems very unhealthy.
For the record I do not boo the team. I have left early on occasions irrespctive of whether Wigan are winning or losing simply to escape the traffic. I would never dictate what other fans should do though. They pay their money and a free to do as they please.
