Disagree. Jeff Lima was our best forward last week.

Props win you pots. If Andy Coley goes he needs replacing. Gareth Hock is an unknown quality and Dom Crosby and Ben Davies aren't ready. Shame Nick Scruton signed a three year deal with Bradford.

As it stands unless we cannot bring in another real top class centre this season to replace Gleeson I would offer Carmont a further year.

Coley if he has the desire to go round again also I see no problem with. He has been our best Prop for the last 2 years for me and he shows no sign of slipping this year from that.

Losing 2 centres in such quick succession could be a real problem, so depending on where we stand with the cap 1 more year should well be an option....depending on the next few months evidence anyway.

I'm pretty sure I read that Coley was set on retiring last year and had to be talked into playing in 2011 so if that's true he's unlikely to be here next year. I suppose we'll have to see what kind of form Hock show's once he's available again. By all accounts he's put on some serious bulk so it's not too difficult to see him moving up to the front row, much like Morley and Peacock have done before him. If it pans out that way then a first choice four of Fielden, Lima, Mossop and Hock looks pretty good moving forward. According to Bilko's stats Lima and Mossop have been our two best forwards when it comes to metres gained per carry in case anyone didn't know

I personally think we need about four players for next season and 5 if hoffman leaves i think alot of people are forgetting carmont might be going my out list

carmont (next year might be a year to far)
hoffman (hope he stays but you neva know)
ocarroll (injured get him on the coiaching staff coaching the under 16s)
coley (looks his age to be honest)
deacon (to injury prone and had his day think he will go into coaching)
gleeson (Well makes no sense atall will he be here wont he personally in bored we the speculation now)

replacements

coley = sika manu or adam blair
deacon = widdop put him at fullback and move sam to 6 tommy and micky mac share hooking role
carmont = micheal jennings
gleeson = josh charnley
ocarroll = promote within like to see davies get a shot but would have signed scruton
hoffman hope he stays but id look at putting hock back there

Yeah get him off the cap and give him a job can't just turn your back on a player let him coach some of the kids at Wigan

We don't need another prop. Fielden, Lima, Prescott, Mossop, Hock, Crosby, Davies is fine. And possibly O'Carroll if this operation works out.
