At the game on friday there was a couple of blokes saying that Hull kr are after Thornley. I dont know if they meant before or after they signed Goulding.

If Ben Crooks was available I would 100% go after him. One of the most natural centres I have seen, he may have lost his way but in the right system I am sure he will refind his form.

Lineham would fit the current policy of looking for bigger athletes. He's spent a long time out injured recently which would explain a lack of fitness. I'm happy with the wingers we have but if one is leaving I'd certainly be happy with Lineham.

At the expense of who though? Charnley is better, I think Burgess will develop in to a better winger and Manfredi always does well when he comes in. Wing is low down our priorities as far as recruitment goes IMO.

Plus, if he's included as part of this so called deal they have for Taylor then why not?

Crooks would be a top signing. He's a better centre then any of ours IMO and would be worth a few quid.

I said a few weeks back that we should try and get him as part of the Taylor deal, but if the rumours on the Hull board are true it looks like we could get him for free.

Just looking at Ben Crooks. He's bigger than I thought. 6'2" and just shy of 14 stones. At 21 he could be able to bulk up a bit soon. As others have said he's a natural right sided centre. Could be worth a punt if available.

Not sure there's any need to sign a fourth first team centre unless Thornley goes. If we bring anyone else in I'd like to see us bring in a young back rower to cover for injuries and allow Lockers/Bateman to be rested. The signing would probably play in most games. I know we have reserve back rowers already but I've run out of patience with Hughes, and I think Burke needs to go out on loan to a lower SL club to get regular game time and prove himself as he would have at Bradford but for his injury
