PV has always taken this 'we don't need fans like you' and 'you're with us or against us approach' that is generally applauded by majority in the room and the dissenter is made out to be an idiot who knows nothing.
last night if u weren't there PV was more or less shouted down by a good number of vocal fans who don't think this is tolerable. fair play and well done.
Im not sayin PV's views reflects nobbys but if hes sent out into the ss bar he speaks for the club and he needs to treat the fans with respect. at the minute PV is putting across this image of the club thats very disrespectful - a 'you know nothing, we know everything' impression. we pay the money and deserve to voice our disatisfaction.
Mr Lenagan, we all know you read this site - this post isn't deliberately trying to stir up trouble but please bear in mind that us fans don't appreciate being spoken down to.
absolute cr@p.
You may not agree with his or other peoples views but to to behave like absolute idiots does not do anyone any good.

Nobody in our group made any comments, buts thats by the bye, people are very fustrated hence the comments and PV's attitude of ''we don't need fans like you' is a disgrace and is remenisant from a scene in Animal Farm.

to be honest I never heard the "we don't need fans like you comment"
But I can understand his anger at the manner of some of the comments rather than the content.
I've seen them bomb a quarter final, bottle a semi final, finish as league leaders, but I've still, never, seen the Wire win the league Doom and gloom, doom and gloom

thanks. your opening response is very PV-esque - disregard that which isn't your own opinion as you know best? come off it.
i didn't shout at PV ( part of windys group) and agree with those who say PV is very brave to keep coming down - maybe IL should be doing it?('cept he only talks to us when he sets the rules)
but at the same time the attitude of PV and through him the club is just not good enough. if you treat the fans like animals/idiots then how do you expect them to behave? when any negative response is met with a 'we don't need you' attitude then thats how you turn fans away or just aggrivate them

What he said.
I was thoroughly embarrassed listening to and watching some of those people heckling Veivers. Probably the same ones who've taken to booing the team off and clapping them on again. I regret the day the Wigan crowd started booing. We went down a notch.
I remember the days when getting beaten or a poor performance was met with massive vocal support, the crowd getting behind the team more and more as the game went on rather than knocking them when they're down.
And to be honest, if I was stood in front of a few hundred fans trying to give an honest assessment of the game and some idiots were trying to shout me down, I'd probably get arsey with them too. Fine, you're upset, but acting like spoilt brats and being downright rude aint gonna get you anywhere.
