He came here at the height of his NRL career using his the opportunity his sporting talents gave him to travel and sample life outside of Oz.
Always respected him for that as much as his skills. As we have seen with Sam T unless your heart is in it 100% moving overseas is not a decision to be taken just for a big pay packet. You have got to want to do it for its own sake.
I'd have him back here even at 34. Nothing to suggest he has any fitness issues and is showing up as a top class player in the NRL. He can kick goals better than anyone in our current side and his drop-outs turn last ditch defence into a tactical advantage. In contrast our drop outs are lucky if they reach the halfway line!
