Leuluai is over here to see family and will do some rehab with Wigan whilst here. Signed a contract extension with NZ until 2017.

I believe that Sarginson has now formally advised IL of his intention to leave the club.
His injury is pretty bad and there is a view within the club that he may not recover to his full fitness even after his operation so perhaps they will not stand in his way.
We need 2 good centres in my opinion or at least one if we assume that Gildart can make the first team next season. I wonder if the Ratchford rumours are true and that maybe we see him as a potential centre for us?

The club have invoked their option for 2016 for Sarginson already, so if he is to go next season it looks like a transfer fee or loan like they did with Taylor.

Yes that will be the case then.
His off field antics have soured his relationship with SW therefore, invoking the option was the best option open to the club financially as I'm sure there will be a suitor somewhere who will gamble on his future fitness.

Ask yourself this - if Shaun Wane was such a bad man manager would Sam be busting a gut to get out of his contract to get back playing for Wigan?

Sarge needs to remember that he was nothing before Wigan signed him. SW made him into an international centre.
