Would it be cap money? The rumour is a straight swap for Hampshire.
Also, Sarginson is more or less gone. Given that of the three who remain, only one is an actual centre - and he's still a kid - I'm not sure it looks quite so rosey. Of course, there's an argument that Carney isn't a centre either. But I can't help feeling that we should be able to fit a barnstormer like him in somewhere, and that it would be criminal not to at least try ... one thing we've lacked all season, IMO, is a line-breaker.
