Shaun Wane during the season review video "We don't sign great players, we sign great people first. They have to be good people to stay at our club, because I'm very demanding about how they behave, how they play, how they train, how they interact with each other....."

I'd be very surprised if he was going on like that knowing we will shortly be announcing that we have signed Ferres. Not to mention the obvious fact that we already have more back rowers than we need.

Not only are we in for Ferres. We are looking at using him as our marquee playee to get around the cap space. Looks like he will be a Wigan player sometime this week

same here - although please don't tell me a certain long-standing loose forward is crocked again & we need a replacement? don't see the sense bringing Ferres in unless there's an urgent need to fill a hole (pun not intended )

Sam is our marquee player make no mistake about that ,that's the reason we have been able to keep our squad together and also have Sam,plus Ferres is having a medical at Leeds this morning
