Marsh should be one of the first names on the teamsheet after tonight's performance.

Farrell's injured.

The effort from Marsh tonight was outstanding, if more experienced members of the team had shown half of it, then we would have been ok.

Still think he should be a winger rather than a centre, as I think he's got higher potential than Goulding in the long term, but never seems to want to pass. He does have one valuable asset that can't be coached - raw pace.

He's right though. That team is crying out for a halfback to take control - Leuluai is never a Scrum Half - as soon as he went to Dummy Half the whole pace of the game changed, an I just don't get why Maguire persists in playing him at 7.

I know Finch is new to the team, but I really expected more from him last night. Our lacklustre performances the last few weeks can be attributed to Deacon's absence IMO - without him no-one is stepping up to organise things, and our most creative player is stuck back at Full Back.

Strange comment, seeing that Marsh, Carmont and McIlorum were amongst the very few that had good games.

Sorry Geoff Goulding was 100% at fault for two tires so no he did not have a good game based on that alone. He should have taken both kicks to his wing given he got hands to the ball on both occasions. It was a sure fire bet after he dropped the first one next time they would kick to him and they did and he obliged and dropped it again. There was no one within a yard for the first and while challenged for the second he got hands on it and fluffed it.

Where did I mention Goulding?

Garbage. Watch the game again, first 15 mins Wigan were all over Leeds (four clean breaks at least). Granted we never converted and the middle part was terrible (because he don't have anything on the last tackle) but Leeds were made out to be world beaters by Sky's commentary team when reality was it was a more even game than it looked time wise for dominance in the game. We did rob them blind but still....

Cheer up guys, you've got us next week.

I reckon we could keep your U18's to a 24 point deficit.

some of your players played in a very mediocre performing wigan team you had a good season last year, now they will be panicking ,reverting to type.
The pressure is on, now teams cant wait to play against Wigan. You have been found out,you need to come up with something

Sam out of fullback for me, reasons why - every team know now hes going to be on the end of the move and are finding it easy to slide with the ball and then hit Sam just as he recieves the ball. As it showed last night when he went into the line hes got the kicking game close to the line which Tommy hasnt and i think were too predictable now, we was calling what was going to happen before we did it. 1 last reason for me is i think hes going to get hurt on kick returns.

Daryl Goulding needs catching practise, 2 last night dropped, 2 vs Hull dropped and probably more ive not remembered off the top of my head.

Actually I don't think there are many more. I don't think it's a coincidence that Tomkins, Roberts, Charnley and Goulding have all started to look weak under the high ball. Catching kicks has a lot to do with confidence and concentration and our outside backs don't seem to have much confidence at the moment.
Goulding was never great under the high ball, he'd barely been tested when he started out as a winger because he'd always played centre so never had to deal with kicks. The fact that he went onto the wing and started to deal with them well (after a shaky start at Salford) is likely to have given him confidence to deal with them. Start to drop some catches and it becomes quite hard to silence the doubts in your mind.
