Can't understand why the RFL are drip feeding tickets into circulation, they must know of the demand to see this game so why not just put what's left up for sale.

I think they have aside from the top end of the third tier.

Agreed. The amount of people I've read feel like they've been mislead into purchasing tickets 'high up in the gods' for fear of missing out due to seemingly no other alternative, only to later find small batches of available seats in better locations.
Why not just put out all available seats right from the off and give supporters the choice at the beginning of the week?
As it stands Wigan have 'nine' single seats available to purchase on their e-ticketing platform. Now if these nine tickets are the very last available to our supporters fair enough but if there's a sudden batch of a few hundred to a thousand tickets appear out of nowhere then it's a poor show (by the RFL).
Looking at the ticket maps on Wigan..kr.. super league there ain't many left.Wigan look to have sold a pon full via rfl think because we have experience of going ot people know it's easier to get them.As for the game itself you would think it's going to be tight first v second but if kr freeze Wigan will butcher them we are looking at a very organised unbelievable team.

It's just to control how full the stadium looks I think. For a few years now in less popular areas they've sold tickets on every other row, or as it seems this year, in 2 rows at a time. Then when they've gone they'll release the rows in between.
If you look at the blocks in the 3rd tier of the North Stand on the Wigan ticket website now you can see it.
big block of premium tickets almost on half way in S124 just up on WIgan site, maybe they were returns??
You'd imagine so, probably from Sponsors or whatever. I'm not sure how many tickets were in that block when it first came available but there are only 3 tickets in there now.
Looking across the Wigan site and the RFL site, there looks to be less than 150 tickets in total in anything past half way down our end of the Stadium. Tough to say how many Wigan fans will be in there but it must be upwards of 20,000-25,000.

There were around 30 initially, went very quickly.

It's understandable as Hull is further away and it's their first final but all the headlines have been about how many tickets KR have sold yet they haven't sold their allocation. Still 1,500 or so to shift - Wigan will definitely outnumber them.
