| Hey lay off Bails, if he's not good enough for KR and Cas then he's certainly good enough for us.

| Id like to say early doors that i am not in favor of bringing TL back.
He was a good (not amazing) player in his day but has struggled with some really bad injuries of late. From memory his best performances came when he was playing 9 for us and not as a specialist half. His Kicking game was erratic at best but woeful at times.
There would be no guarantee that he would be able to play, regain any form or help us where we are most lacking...organisation.
I think Smiths days are (well should be) numbered, however TL aint the man to replace him.

I agree. Wouldn't say no to him coming to Wigan in some sort of coaching role.
I suppose it depends where he & his missus decide where their future lies. NZ or Wigan.

| The NZ Warriors replaced Hurrell with an improved version: Kata. Him I'd be interested in, Hurrell not so much. Too many errors and defensive frailties. He's no Inga the Winger, that's for sure.
I agree that TL was a better 9 than he ever was a 7. For the international side, too.

| Wigan apparently interested in Hull FC's out of contract prop Josh Bowden. Killing it for Hull this season, arguably Hulls second best prop behind Taylor. I expect all Hull fans want him to resign for the foreseeable future.

| Don't know a great deal about him but he does seem to be more prominent in the Hull side now. I think Green is off contract at HKR also and he looks another good young prop.

Indeed!
If he could kick goals as well as being a superb stand off I think we'd all be desperate to see him back here. The issue of who kicks goals for us is a huge one if the club were to decide to make a change in the halves.

| Humberside seems to be where it is at in producing big young Props at the mement. Green and Bowden would add athleticism and natural size to our pack, one, or both would certainly be a good addition in my opinion.

Agreed. Would have suited our style very well. Makes bags of meters and very hard to stop close to the line.
Let's hope the rumours were not true and he have other targets in mind as it really is a priority position to fill.
A return for Burgess would probably be the ideal scinario but I'm not sure that is likely, Johnston is an exciting talent but personally I hope he stays where he is. I can't think of any other UK based wingman up to the standard required. Wing in the NRL does seem to be the position with the biggest talent pool so maybe now we are targeting someone from their, preferably who can kick a goal or 2.
