Why are we obsessed with singing previous Wigan players? And the one we didn't bother to sign - Matty Russell - has been outstanding for Wire.

Powell has been outstanding at 9 doing the 80 minutes.
That surely must change evrything at Wigan re the 9 position.
With Waney having 2 extra interchages as Powell and Micky haven't been on and off they can be used to keep our forwards fresher than otherwise.
We know now Powell can do 80 minutes, can Micky, can Tommy L?
If the game goes down to 8 interchanges we can't waste two on 9s going off and on.
Big decisions to be made at the club by our coaching staff.

I don't know whether or not this is too 'out there', but I always thought McIlorum would make a good Lockers style ball playing 13?

I vaguely remember him playing at loose in the past. I could be making it up though.

so given that we had no cap left a few weeks ago to pay for loanees to come in and support our squad for the trinity match .... how the feck can we afford these guys if we are only losing sarge and josh this season ???
