(Unfortunately) there are plenty of cars in Leigh with a ton of Wigan stickers etc in the back of the car, and I can't say I've ever noticed them with wing mirrors missing or being keyed etc.

I actually had my old car keyed on a matchday at the JJB, but it'd be daft to suggest that it was owt to do with the Centurions sticker in the back.

Given the huge scrote population we have in this country, I can only say that these things happen and there isn't a lot to be done to defend against it. :(

Mass Steralisation of the CHAV generation would work......unfortunately I dont think many would go for it though.....bit too hitleresque

If there was secure parking for all then you would have to pay? Parking on side streets is always risky whether you are watching RL or going shopping or eating. We have parking for all who turn up, now all we need to do is fill it!!

Is there enough space for 25000 cars?

Is there enough secure parking for every fan or not?

Where's the twenty five thousand come from?

Sorry Matt, but as a Hindley girl in border country, it's too close for comfort;)

Might have been St Marys street but not 100% certain. Most seasons when i park here there are quite a few wigan fans park in the same street. There was a witness from one of the houses who said it was fans in Leeds Rhino tops who had been vandalising the cars. Not a very useful description to take to the police and wouldnt be so petty to report such a small crime considering i got my wing mirror back. I posted the topic to see if any other wigan fans had any trouble, not to receive replies from trolls who feel the need to be sarcastic but nice to know you found my post so interesting :D

1) If someone saw them do it then why didn't they call the police there and then to report it?

2) By you not reporting it though the police aren't aware there is a problem in that area and therefore can't do anything to stop the same happening to other people who park there.

Like gateaux said, as far as the local police are concerned your crime never happened, what is likely to happen now is that their resources will be targeted elsewhere at the next home game, its how policing works, you place your officers where the reported crime is supposedly happening.

As a responsible citizen you owe it to everyone else to report any incident no matter how minor, every police officer MUST report every incident that is told to them whether he/she takes any further action or not - if there is one thing that a Police Inspector hates more than anything its petty crime happening on his patch because its actually the easiest statistic to prevent.

Can I ask a question? How do you know it was Leeds fans? The only trouble I have heard of from Friday involved coin, bottle and can throwing scrotes from Wigan. Could it have been one of those on finding he was not allowed back on his coach taking his frustration out on the nearest thing???

Just a thougt
