Fair play to you for showing the stones to come on here. It’s a shame that the more vocal Saints fans like LeBron Rebellion and Ass108 haven’t managed to pluck up the courage yet.

Agree. I can understand them feeling aggrieved. I think I would. Hicks was nowhere near as bad as they make out with not referring the Knowles effort upstairs. The offside and markers not square they are complaining about is normal for any SL game particularly finals as for years ref’s appear to have had a policy of not giving as many penalties is show piece games. St Helens did their fair share too. An obvious coached tactic was to create and American Football style wall to protect the receiver after the ball was kicked.

The RFL should charge McManus for those comments, there is no doubt he is implying bias.

Completely disagree and I'm with McManus on this one.

The whole Hicks thing was an obvious PR stunt imo and everyone bought it. It was nauseating hearing that 'brave' Hicks met the guy who gave it the big one on Twitter. Let's face it, nothing was ever going to happen and Hicks milked the spot light for his own benefit.

Saints have every right to be aggrieved, because either Hicks is incompetent by not going to the VR or there's something shady going on. Either way his season should be over.

Of course it was a publicity stunt. A good one imo. I think the objective was to highlight the abuse ref’s get on Twitter and that it is not acceptable and there are consequences.

The only bit I agree with is when McManus said twitter is an open sewer.
