I just bought a £40 from warriors site. Doesn't say where though. Hopefully it's behind the sticks in the west stand. Can't wait! Great atmosphere for the Semi, let's hope for same and same result

60,000 tickets sold so far I have heard

Wigan we’re always going to sell a decent amount with it being 5 years since the last Old Trafford appearance but If that’s true it’s shocked me a bit, I thought the final attendance would be in the 50’s at best, if it can push in the high 60’s that would be amazing considering Catalans are in the final, Saints-Leeds was only 60k last year.

I mean, remember how the semi final was going to be "Embarrassing" for the club, just like last years semi against Leeds, and it ended up with both semi finals being the higher attendance and Wigan fans more than doubling and in The Leeds game nearly trebling the away following?

Not only great news for this season if it’s true but hopefully a nudge towards the future. If we can get that for a Catalans final, then hopefully next year and beyond can start to see nigh on full houses again.

That's an amazing figure against catalan if true. I though it might be around the 50,000 mark but anything higher than 60 would be a real positive for the sport.

Yeah, I think a Saints final would have obviously got a bigger total attendance but also a larger Wigan crowd, it was certainly the opposition I wanted to play.

There certainly feels like a feel good atmosphere around the club going forward, I think they’ve missed a trick not offering new early bird season ticket holders the chance to buy at the renewal price, I think that really could have got a boost in season ticket sales.

I don't think the chairmen lead them out in the Grand Final. I think that is just for the Challenge Cup.

Hopefully a lot of none neutral neutral's will be there to cheer on Catalans, that should help the atmosphere

printed mine, better safe than sorry, on Wigan's site it does say all tickets are physical

Just read says on ticket if scanning from phone make sure brightness is 100%

Sure there was none this low when I booked tickets on Saturday which is a bummer as low down on this tier the view is really good considering they’re £30 tickets, towards the top you are with the gods, really makes me question how well it’s sold, the stadium plan looks like it will be a decent attendance but it may just be because tickets have been held back from sale.

I'd be amazed if that many tickets have been sold - if the crowd is around 55k come gameday then that would be a good result. New available areas seem to regularly pop up on the RFL site despite them previously being greyed out as unavailable.

Dunno if I'm over-simplifying this, but surely if the RFL were looking to maximise the visual impact of the crowd on Saturday they would start by selling tier 1 & 2 tickets, then open ticket sales for the top tiers of north, east, and west stands once these were close to capacity? Does anyone know what the capacity is without the 3rd tier included at Old Trafford?

Still a few days to go though, still could easily sell another few thousand. If the rfl start giving tickets away to local community clubs and such like, cut price tickets for locals then could get to 60,000.

I thought it would be in the 50s, so think this is more believable than the rumour of 60k sold earlier this week. Hopefully more will get sold and the attendance can get closer to 60k.

They've already given away more than enough - a final ticket should cost money. Particularly as Iv just forked out £65!
