McIlorum signed an extension at the end of last year to stay until 2019. He's spent all of the season out injured. What, exactly could be his problem? That we signed TL?

The Bateman story isn't completely surprising given the alleged incident a few weeks ago, but to lose the likes of him and keep hold of non-battlers ilke Mossop and Crosby would be very disappointing. I'd have hoped we'd have been able to smooth all that over by now.

The McIlorum story is bewildering, given that he's barely played in 12 months.

Can't help wondering if someone's been having a private word in the ears of these two Yorkshiremen. Leeds need a new team, don't they?

Not sure about Mcilorum but we have told Bateman we are building the pack around him for the foreseeable future. There is no way he will be allowed to leave. Probably why we will see Mossop shipped out

Regarding Zak Hardaker wouldn't touch him to be honest.

He has stated he wants to remain in the NRL and were it not for the £300k price tag he would do.

He is clearly a talented lad and I believe we were in for him when he was still at Fev, he chose Leeds.

He clearly needs an environment he is happy in, if he doesn't have that then things go wrong for him and he makes bad decisions away from the field. With him stating he wants to remain in the NRL I doubt any SL club will provide him an environment in which he will be happy and for that reason I doubt we will see him back to his best.

I also worry that if he is not happy trouble consistently follows him off the field too.

Ben Matalino looks set to be shown the door at the Warriors. Given the on going Clubb issue, the Mossop to Leigh rumours and our seemingly good relationship with the Warriors IF a SL team is a possible destination I hope we are at the front of the queue and TL has been tapping him up in the back ground.

His form has slipped but if he were to come to SL he would still kill it and I think a new environment may see him regain some of the form that had him held as one of the top front row forwards in the game a few seasons ago.
