Leuluai broken jaw. At least shorrocks will get a start and we will have a goal kicker starting the season. Silver linings and all that.

Why? A broken jaw doesn't need 3 months to heal.

He's got a double fracture by the sounds of things.

6 months seems extreme.

I've had a look at Google and saw that Anthony Tupou's jaw break was as bad as a doctor had ever seen. He needed 4 plates and 16 screws and he was only expected to miss two months (not sure how long he actually did miss). I remember Kell Brook broke his eye socket in that Golovkin fight in September and he's back in training now two months later. I appreciate that injury is different though.

All speculation anyway so fingers crossed he's not too bad.

Sam Tomkins was passing to his wingers in his last year at Wigan before he went the NRL. It's 100% a tactic teams use.

However, I think the injuries have taken toll on sam Tomkins and I don't think he's going ever be the player he was ever again.

His game was built on his pace and running game. His kick returns used to have me in fear every time we kicked the ball, I don't fear him now and I'd certainly prefer our kicks to go to Sam rather than any other back three you have.

Jonny lomax has had terrible 2 and half seasons with career threatening injuries but his game was purely based on pace, he is more of a 3rd pivot when out the back.

No, he's doing an excellent job at Wigan now, let him develop in that role for a few years.

I'm not usually one for posting rumours but I've heard he's signed for Wigan for 2017.

A good mate of mine is an estate agent and has told me he's been to view a house in Wrightington that Wigan have sorted for him. This lad has no reason to make this up!

Obviously Blair is good mates with Tommy and FPN as well as having worked with Madge at Melbourne. We've lost Mossop (who was on a big salary) and Crosby but I'd imagine at least one other front line forward would need to make way. My money would be on Clubb due to injury. It's well known that Wane has been on the look out for a pack leader for some time.

Blair is pushing 31 so it's not as far fetched as you may think. Has anyone else heard anything?
