I'd be very, very surprised if Williams went. I'd suspect Wigan will be offering Williams an improved new deal. For Wigan to bring him through the system, invest their time and money to produce a player of his quality and just let him leave to go to a rival club would be a ludicrous decision. I just don't see Lenegan letting that happen and i think he would go out of his way to keep him. Money is a big talker but sometimes it isn't everything. I think the Wire will give Declan Patton a chance to show his worth. Lots of potential.

Been told by 3 different people last week all strongly linked to Wigan or Warrington that Sandow and Lineham had played their last games for Wire and that Williams was deffo going Wire with Ratchford or Dwyer coming other way (a couple said Ratchford, one said Dwyer). I too find it highly unlikely letting our hottest prospect go to one of our main rivals but when I asked the question why would wigan let him go I was told Williams wants to go as his dad works at Warrington. Makes it seem a little more feasible I guess and with Sandow now going as I was told surely this adds weight.

What does Williams' dad do at Warrington?
Whatever that is, is there not the option for him to do the same at Wigan?

If Wire came with an offer of say £500K for Williams then Wigan would have to consider it particularly as he only has two years left on his contract.
