Amazingly I think around 30 of those pages were done in the first couple days after reveal but yeah I do think its over the top but Wigan is one of the oldest and most well known teams in RL and the Cherry and White is part of the "brand". Its recognisable the world over RL wise yet they've decided to mess with it. Its like Man Utd deciding to change to a blackburn style shirt except half red/half white. Its not as extreme as changing colours because it is still Cherry and a tiny bit of White but tbh It isnt anywhere near as bad in person but its still not a proper Wigan shirt. I meansome Utd fans I know are moaning this year because the shirt is a slightly lighter shade of Red! I cant even see it myself but there you go!

Oh and to add I think alot of it is actually to do with the fact that we are Champions at the minute and a really nice shirt would have sold thousands and probably sold to people who dont necessarily buy season tickets.

Would someone please if possible post a pick of the shirt when they are in the shop and give an honest opinion of what they think it looks like in the flesh.

Then I can decide if I should drive from Warrington to pick myself one up or wait for the away one.

I got hold of the shirt the other day as an early xmas gift (my mum doesnt have a clue what to buy me at times)

Shirts certinaly not a Wigan RL shirt and whoever signed it off as a wigan shirt clearly had a few to drink the night before the meeting.

On the other hand I don't mind it and i can cope with it for a year. Hopefully the away shirt will be better.

The 2009 shirt was the closest that we've had to a "traditional" shirt in a while and if anything we should be talking about the 17 players in the shirt rather than making a fuss about what they are wearing. Anyways, I'm sure there are worst club shirts in the histroy of sports than this one!

If the shirt was fit to buy I would have been up town this morning in the "Queue" but seeing as how the club have chosen to provide us with utter dross I felt my time was better used sitting at home twiddling my thumbs. Hope the club realise what a massive mistake they have made!
