exactly!!!! i'm still in shock, i know you don't have to sit in your seat but it's an outrage!! at least dick turpin wore a mask, and to top it all of my mate stu didn't kill anyone just said lets claim our seats then
I've seen them bomb a quarter final, bottle a semi final, finish as league leaders, but I've still, never, seen the Wire win the league Doom and gloom, doom and gloom
One thing that will live with me forever regarding that Manly game was the deafening BOOM, BOOM, BOOM from the fireworks as Hanley slowly led out the Wigan team onto the pitch.
I just hope the club / RFL are going to recreate that. It will be a Sunday night in winter and the town centre and surrounding areas will be quiet. Nothing better than getting the game started with half a dozen of the loudest bangers available, will be heard for miles around..and would get the crowd buzzing even more!!
be nice if people can see the pitch when it kicks off this time.
The fireworks don't have to set off from inside the stadium, they can be aimed to explode above the ground from outside. I think they did the same against Salford about 5-6 years ago in the first home game of the season.

They also have set fireworks off outside the ground for international games.
The fireworks were set off just before the kick off at the Brisbane game in 1992. Only a minute into the game and "Andre Stoop" our full back couldn't see the ball for the smoke and dropped it. Can't remember who scored for the Broncos but it was uphill from there.

Fireworks yes if you like but just be careful!
Yep. Then Andy Platt was carried off and the rest is history.
