Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

Oh believe me we have much more in the tank for this game fella. New song is making its debut away from home. :D

I'm sure we'll hear the usual form you with different parts of the ground singing occasionally all out of time.

I managed to get 3 tickets yesterday and a further 2 tickets today. Reckon I must have had the last couple of ones earlier this afternoon! Gonna be a cracking atmosphere!

No chance unfortunately. Even 3.5-4k Wiganers is probably less than Saints take to the DW for a run of the mill league game.

The play-off crowds are so irritating. I know it's tough for people to find the cash but it's Saints v Wigan in the play-off semi for goodness sake!!! (Aimed at Saints fans BTW, good effort from your mob).

Your ground next year should see the fair weather supporters come back, drove past last week and it looks very impressive.

Union people are idiots. They almost universally accept that league is a better, faster game played by better athletes, yet for some reason they continue to disregard and belittle it. That game is tedious as hell from start to finish. If he'd ever played or even bothered to give more than a fleeting chance to league he would realise that the game is far more 'technical' than Union ever could be. Booting the ball into touch, scrummaging and forming rucks and mauls aren't areas that involve any skill, technique or mental capacity whatsoever. These are clumsy, outdated facets of the game that are also extremely uninteresting to watch and thus have to be defended in some way by people who are too prejudiced to see the truth.

There are still South Stand tickets remaining and they will be on general sale at 9am in person, over the phone and via E-Ticketing.

I don't get paid for this, you know

You've only played us once at Widnes this season, and battered us. So I wouldn't base our atmosphere/support at the Stobart, purely on that game.

Our atmosphere there has been pretty good this year considering 'the singers' are spread out in various parts of the east stand, hence the poor timings.

I don't think you'll bring 4k, maybe 3.5 tops. For all the chat Wigan give about the quantity of their support, it should be expected they bring about 4-5k.

In June when you beat us, we were promised an invasion of Widnes. You filled the end holding 2.8k.
Saints, not in our best season took near 4.5k to wigan on Good Friday. In our trophy-laden years we've had a good 6k there with overspill into the East/West stands at Wigan Athletic's ground. So with Wigan on course for their first double in.... Big away support is expected.

And who was there first... :SUBMISSION:

i'm guessing St Helens Saints plan to pay the tax payer of St Helens Council areas back for the generous theiving that was given by the council then? No? I'd guess then that Saints own their new stadium about as much as I own my Mortgaged House. Jog on kitties!
