He's claiming that he always wanted to stay here, and couldn't stay due to visa issues. But thats not what we were told at the end when he left so who knows.

I wouldn't mind swapping him for FPN simply because he'd take up less space on the cap for an average/poor forward.

Would hate for us to sign Pettybourne. Even if FPN did go, he still wouldn't be good enough to make the best 17 on merit, and would rather give Hamlin, Wells etc game time when injuries kick in.

Really hope we aren't signing Pettybourne, that would be a hugely dispiriting move. Personally, I'm massively disappointed we seem to have made no effort to get Bousquet from Catalans, I realise he is probably going to the NRL but he would have been a fantastic addition to our pack

Pettybourne didn't see out his last contract with us.
Why would we want him.

Pettybourne would be an awful re signing, similar to resigning Mossop. No go forward and a poor defence, much rather keep FPN.

Sutton to the NRL? He’s barely good enough for the SL, I can’t see him getting an NRL starting berth.

Heard the Currie to Wigan rumour again this morning. I posted a few weeks ago on this thread about how ridiculous it was and I still stand by that. Warrington would be beyond belief idiotic to let Currie leave to come to us, or any other SL side for that matter.
