Another little bit in todays MEN linking us with McGuire, not much but every little helps. At the end of the day the guy played for stains, that should rule him out straight away. Eric Hughes Millward alex murphy all great coaching sucesses at wigan!

I wouldn't worry about the Wigan Reporter. It really is the shallowest end of the pool in terms of Wigan journalism, just recycled bits and bobs from all the other papers.

I doubt anyone who works on it does any research of their own.

It was in the Observer on Tusday and it was only case of Fairleigh saying 'i'd be interested in the Wigan job'.

I bet he would by the sounds off all that!
