Wane said in his interview Sarginson will play well on the right edge. That good as confirms Gelling as gone IMO.

Squad numbers out tomorrow according to the guys in the club shop.

A couple of years ago, I saw Joel Tomkins driving away from Orrell training ground. That night his signature was announced by the club.

To cheer you all up on a cold, wet December night, I thought I’d let u know that this afternoon, I saw Gareth Hock driving away from the training ground. Now, he wasn’t actually within the grounds when I saw him but if I changed my name to another poster, I’d be telling you that he’d definitely signed for us! However, I’m not changing my name and it could very easily be just coincidence!

Not sure that’s cheering anybody up!Even if I could put his history to one side I don’t think he’s actually very good anymore. He was brilliant in his pomp for us but he’s a shadow of that player now.

I may be on my own but I'd be happy with it on a 1 year deal, he would add some genuine aggression to what is a fairly soft forward pack.
