I don't think they realise how much respect they lose with stuff like this. We regard their skills with awe, and admire their sporting ethos. But there's an awful lot we Brits could teach them about sportsmanship.

Or not making excuses, which, whether you like it or not, is laudible.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

I really do hope Leeds show em who is boss, I would love for us to start playing it over in Austrailia though, I still think Leeds would win.

They don't care or value the cup as anything other than a pre-season warm-up they are obliged to take part in.

They have already stated that the kids will play the first half, now who would play youngsters in a competition that supposedly crowns the winners world champions?

Would they play the youngsters to make sure everybody 'gets a go' in the NRL GF? No, they just don't care.

I think the Manly coach was referring to the warm up game against Harlequins when he said that the kids will play the first half.

winning like never before. decoys. mouse traps. chicken wings. lollie pops. shepperds. the crusher. grapples. big league. In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. References were found at the time to district teams being called 'The Saints'.the perfect 11
