Feature on Wigan on Sky Sports News : Mon Feb 23, 2009 11:57 pm
Just been sat watching and they've done a feature re: our worst start since 1986. Been interviewing fans in the town centre today by WH Smith about our plight.
Showing that statue at Central Park - "it may be seen as the home of Rugby League - but all is not well on the streets of Wigan, 3 straight defeats has even got the buskers playing the blues". Cue a busker who's probably been slipped a fiver to play some dull music lol.
They interviewed the Observers Phil Wilkinson and he's saying that 2006 proved that once your on a losing run its hard to break.
Also interviewed Phil Clarke at the JJB and he is confident Nobby will turn things around, noting Bradfords poor start to their Grand Final 2005 winning season, also noting they got hammered 60+ points by Saints mid season (which will no doubt follow for Wigan this year lol).
Anyway if you wanna catch it it'll be repeated at just after quarter to the hour all through the night and probably on Sky Sports News Breakfast in the morning.
