re: NRL on Setanta : Wed Mar 25, 2009 5:49 pm
This was posted on the Virtual Terrace board if you want to get involved.....it is regarding Setanta's apparent decision to cut NRL coverage down to just 1 game a week for the next two months (Saturday 8:30am) despite the channel's website claiming they'd show "a minimum of two games a week".

However, their coverage of NRL has been whittled away to one game a week on Saturday mornings. Which seems extreme considering Setanta 2 is showing teleshopping in its place on Fridays. Anyway, if any of you feel like helping a cause, I have just fired off an E-mail to setanta through their feeback section (if anyone has a better address to send to please let me know). http://www.setanta.com/uk/Contact-Us/ Head here and help out our great game! Without NRL coverage there is no reason for me to subscribe to a second rate broadcaster. After that they say they will show more NRL (they have the rights to show up to 3 live games). I too am unimpressed by there being only one game shown this weekend. Could they be done under the trade descriptions act or false advertising? |
