Bentham has been given the biggest match of the weekend - Leeds v Saints, how he can get that after his performance on Friday ill never know :? worst ref ever.

I think you'll find I actually wrote Bentham gave us enough penalties but we did bugger all with them last Friday. I think ref bashing is a far too easy excuse.

We didn't bash the refs when Wakey and Cas beat us at home because we could see they weren't to blame but the game against Huddersfield was a different matter.
We would have won with a different ref.

Difficult to know if we would have won for sure with a different ref, but I think the game would have been better to watch as Huddersfield would most likely not have got away with what they did with Bentham as ref.

Refs have a bigger impact on the game than most people realise.
Here's a point...Many tries come from penalties. Who awards the penalties? If the ref chooses not to award a penalty as sometimes they don't then this will affect the score.
It's rubbish to say don't blame the ref, it's always the players fault.
A ref could give 'not square' at most play the balls.
A ref could penalise the defending team for not having 2 feet on the line on EVERY occasion.
