Harsh, ok he came up with a couple of errors but assuming he isn’t on big money he is worth a place in the squad.

Game changed off the missed touch off the penalty.

We had all the momentum and ball and that just handed everything on a plate to Wire, don’t think we touched the ball for the next 10 minutes.

Terrible error. Looked like he’d never seen a rugby ball before.

Correct about the missed penalty into touch, under Shaun Wane we literally never ever missed touch, for years. Sacrificing metres.

This is the problem though for me. He’s not on big money but we should be looking to shift him on. He’s been here long enough and barely improved to a level that should keep him in the matchday squad. I’m not normally one for this ‘Wigan at all costs’ youth policy but we just need better than players like him regardless of where they come from.

Ok Navarette made a big error at the end but do not blow it out of proportion. Several others made errors during the game. If you think that he cost us the game you are wrong. Warrington had the whip hand, they were in front and we were playing catch up. No one is blaming Gildart and Budgie for not scoring at the end are they?

I think people accept mistakes if they’re balanced out by good stuff. I don’t think Navarrete does enough to warrant the mistakes he so often makes. I think it’s time for him and a few others to go, not Wigan standard for me.

That said, really decent effort today against one of the front runners. Play like that next week and I’ll be happy.
