Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid.
Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal.
Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.

As a Wire fan, he's a player I don't want to see on your team sheet. One of the most underrated players in the league.

Very true. He is great at running lines and finding half gaps. Reminds me very much of David Furner.

We have missed him without doubt. He has the ability to change a game running an uncompromising line.

My only gripe with him is his ability to give away an unforced penalty at bad times during a game.

I understand the need occasionally to give away a penalty just to kill a bit of momentum , however Farrell has a tendency to give away a penalty late in the tackle count when it isn’t needed.

It’s a real frustration I have towards him.

He will however be a very welcome return to the pack as he offered threat and a high work ethic whilst managing big minutes.
