In order to get a bigger crowd for his testimonial, it would have been better to have invited St Helens or even Warrington.

I can't see many Leeds supporters these days crossing the Pennines in January for a testimonial, especially if the weather is bad.

We played Saints and Wire four times each last season, and will play them a minimum of three each this coming season.
Saints play London Broncos as part of LMS testimonial on the same date that we play Leeds..

It'll be interesting to see who plays in the two games, London Skolars on the Friday and Leeds on the Sunday. I'm looking forward to seeing some of the younger players i.e.Kai Pearce-Paul Ben Kilner and Ethan Havard, all big lads who are tremendous athletes.

It's was the U19s who played the Scholars. Perhaps this time a mixture of U18s and the younger players from the reserves.

It has always been mostly Academy players with the addition of a small number of first team fringe players

Prop is the area we have the most depth and it’s tough to get them all enough minutes in two first team friendlies, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see a couple play in the Skolars game (Maybe Bullock, Navarette, Byrne, Clark etc).
