I just think Coley was more of a plodder. Wasn’t aggressive and didn’t make many metres but was solid enough. My own opinion and seeing as this thread is subjective, each to their own!

true but all our props have been. Coley was plenty aggressive and he showed it numerous times in 2010 loved that pack in 2010.

My team would be made up of the same players as others have posted but with Sam at 1 and gonna play devils advocate here. I would pick Green and Finch as 6 and 7.

It was a very good team but Goulding on the wing, Riddell and a slim Feka on the bench make that a no go. I like Hansen too, he was a good grafter who put his body through a lot for the club, but I can't see how anyone has him ahead of Bateman/Hoffman/Hock if you're not trying to fit everyone under a salary cap.. Totally different levels of talent there. If we're talking about picking one team like that then the 2011 Cup final team was better IMO, though J.Tomkins didn't work well as a centre long term.

I don’t agree but we’ll agree to disagree whilst it’s Christmas.

Though I do agree about the 2010 pack. They made the ground and made it easy for our backs to play off the back of them and tear the opposition to pieces. To go from finishing in 6th and 12 points behind Leeds in 2009 to finishing top 4 points clear and being champions is an astronomical feat IMO.

Amos Roberts was phenomenal at the start of 2010. But that run was only 8 games before the injury.

I’d be sticking FPN in for his late 2016 run!

Looking back, we’ve had solid but not spectacular props the last 10 year.

Hopefully this years set of props will get up to another level.

Anyone bored over Xmas, have a watch of some game highlights from 10-13 on YouTube. Particularly 2012 we we’re a joy to watch.

What a decade it's been when you compare it to the previous one. Going from nearly relegated to 3 consecutive semi-final defeats in 07-09 I thought we'd just become also-rans like Warrington.

Shaun Wane is easily the coach of the decade and Sean O'Loughlin player of the decade.

2000-09:
3 GFs, 0 Championships
1 Challenge Cup
1 LLS

2010-19:
6 GFs, 4 Championships (could easily have been 6)
2 Challenge Cups
2 LLS

I actually have loads of full games from 2010-13, might stick them all on YouTube over Christmas as a lot have been taken down.

Just watched Leeds away when we whupped them 50-8 at Headingly. Micky Mac and Sam Tomkins were brilliant.
Fast aggressive rugby with loads of pace. Beltin.

That game against saints at the etihad followed by the 50-8 win against Leeds is the best 2 performances we’ve ever put in consecutively, we was absolutely brilliant to watch that year just a shame we couldn’t win any of the 2 majors

Yeah do it. Is it someone one here who has put the 'memories of rugby league' stuff on? I sit there for hours watching those glorious games. Whoever is in charge of it. Put some more on :o :o :o

I'd go Maguire for coach. Incredible how much we improved under him with only one signing (who many thought would be fairly average). No debate regarding Lockers
