I'm terribly sorry, I simply wasn't aware that I'd been on the Saints board, insulted some former players and then attempted to make the thread about current Wigan players. In fact if you'd be so kind as to post a link to the thread where I did this I'd be only to happy to apologise...

Secondly the poster I was answering was talking about players who had dominated their era. Therefore, I think you'll agree, the comment was relevant.

Whereas St Helens only had to rent a stadium in a different postcode for a year.

If you'd done your homework lately, you'd know Whelan's not been involved for a while, make sure your English is done by school on Monday.

Better to rent for a year and own a state of the art stadium which is acknowledged as the best wholly owned rugby league stadium in the country than be homeless forever and relying on the charity of a third tier football club to put you up once a fortnight

You really should listen to the news sometimes. Whelan isn’t involved with the DW anymore.
I’m glad that you put a few quid in his pocket as your kindness & generosity swelled his bank account so much that he was able to sell up.

Actually we don't rent off Dave Whelan they are now owned by a Chinese consortium and we pay a nominal rent in return for not taking any match day earnings so its balanced out,also Latics couldn't survive without our occupation of the stadium as it wouldn't be used for two thirds of the year,also you are more than welcome to visit the Robin Park facilities when we beat your junior team AGAIN
