Toronto aftermath : Thu Feb 13, 2020 10:05 pm
Another awful display of cluelessness.

Forget the scoreline, the performance was terrible again. The attack is so boring, scrappy and predictable. The only player who looks to be able to do something other than pass the ball along the line from left to right is French. God help us if he gets an injury!

I feel sorry for those that turn up every week and pay to watch that. Watching Lams reaction at the end, you would of thought we had just served up a RL masterclass not 80 minutes of boring dire passing from side to side with a flurry of tries at the end when Toronto ran out of steam and lost their composure with a player off the field.

3 games in im already bored of the season.

I think there are positive signs we have a brand new spine which is crucial.

A new 9, 13, 7, 6,1 and some expect is to hit the ground running.

My only issue in 2020 so far is Joe Burgess sooner we can offload him the better.

Why not just post in the existing Toronto thread?

You don't even go to the games yet you're always the loudest voice  Positive signs in the second half. Something to build off

Theres another 30/40/50% on this team
Powell back in, Gilbert back in, manfredi back in, Burgess back in.

I get the Budgie thing and there was couple of things tonight especially the dropped ball/loose carry near his own line, but I think the try will do him the world of good.

Good to see our best 2 props tonight in the field 20 to 60mins and actually get some go forward.
Thought Smith did well.
Hastings created space and opportunities
Faz looked energetic and dangerous.
Hardaker strong
And God help me if anyone mentions French to 6 and hardaker FB!!!!!

The half backs and backs can score tries from anywhere as was proved again tonight.
Lam's forward selection was again sub zero. Bullock made a real improvement when he came on.
Lam needs to sort his pack out to get the best out of his backs.
He says Burgess and Flower will be back next week so his selection next week will be interesting..

Do us all a favour and switch your telly off and disable your WiFi. That way you won’t have to watch the boring rugby and you won’t bore the pants off the rest of us on here.

That was a solid win tonight. Built a platform in the first half and ramped it up in the last half hour. Still too many penalties but that was clear progress.
Hastings was sublime in parts of the 2nd half and we look better with Harry Smith in the side.
Job done, onwards and upwards.
