The American BLM Movement has taken back race relations and the multi-cultural society in our country back years and created more racial tension between White and Black/Asian people.

You only have to look at the increased number of racist comments from both sides on the social media compared to the number there was before anyone in our country had heard of the movement in America.

All lives matter, irrespective of colour, race or religion.

In your opinion
I guess those "Damn Blacks" (in reference to a prominent statement of the last week ago) would be better just staying quiet eh?
I mean, it's only all got out of hand since they started making a fuss about it?

Racist comments from both sides, ok, everyone would just be better if those blacks/asians kept quiet and stopped upsetting those damn racist whites so they didnt have to tweet/reply back their racist replies?

All Lives Matter, including Black, Asian, gay, straight, etc. Etc.

So next time its mothers day, we can argue about how Fathers day matters
Then 3 months later when its fathers day we can argue about Mothers day matters.

No celebrating the NHS
I mean Private Healthcare workers lives matter to?

Let's stop "Help the aged" as I'm sure Children and middle age people need helping as well?
Whilst were at it let's not "Save the children" because ???

No "Prostate Cancer" badges, God am I sick of all those ex footballers and pundits on TV every week, shoving it down my throat about bloody prostate cancer.
My relatives died of bladder cancer, and other cancers, and what do you get from Sky footballers and pundits, NOTHING!
BLOODY SKY, THE CANCER RACISTS (I dont know what people are called who like one kind of cancer and not others?).
My uncle has prostate cancer though, so if anything happens there I'll let you know though.
I may change my opinion on that "When it affects me".

I could go on but I reckon most people will get it
And whilst I agree most people will want to get on with rugby, talk about rugby etc., I do believe sport, music has a place to play in leading and educating in society, and after the last few months God have they got their work cut out.

Anyway, as I say please feel free to lock?
I think were done here????

Wow.

Maybe Rosa Parks should have agreed to stand in her section on the bus as that caused a fair bit of fuss and anger at the time.

What about Ruby Bridges? Maybe she should have just stayed at home rather than go to get an education as that seemed to create a whole heap of trouble.

Let’s just ignore and pretend social injustices are not a thing. That way nobody will highlight them, nobody will address them and there will be no debate.

Seems like a good idea.

Nothing bad ever happened by not challenging social injustice or highlighting it......

And what about Rugby Union.
Do you think that a black man would have even played for South Africa, never mind captained them and been presented with the World Cup trophy by a black president if other teams and countries in different sports, athletics, cricket football etc hadn't stood up against apartheid?

If you ever get the chance to speak to Billy Boston ask him of his disappointment with the management of the 1954 GB touring side to Australia and New Zealand. They were "invited" to play exhibition games in South Africa on the way back but were told that Boston couldn't stay in the same hotel as the rest of the team.

Billy came declining the "invite" but says the players and management should have backed him and ALL come home.

Going to watch that later

Heard about him through the codebreakers program and hadn't realised his history.
Sounds like he was 20years ahead of his time
