I’d almost find knighthoods now insulting. They should’ve got them a couple of years back and it shouldn’t need people calling for them. The whole thing is an absolute joke! You’ll get one of you went to the right school, are from the right part of the country, you scratch the right peoples backs or if you fit the right politically correct profiling and if you don’t, forget about it.

Rob Burrow and Kevin Sinfield don’t need knighthoods. They’re Rugby League royalty and heroes to many many people, especially in the MND community and that comes naturally and doesn’t need to be forced.

Given Sinfield political stance would he accept a Knighthood?

Would go against his principles.

Not part of the worthy debate, that goes without saying both he and RB are fully deserving of the title.

Find it incredible that Billy Boston hasn’t been knighted. A true indictment of how Rugby League is ignored
