The best thing about it is that it still feels like 'the end of the beginning', rather than a crowning achievement.
Obviously we won't retain every player that we would like to over the next 2, 3, 4 years, and we'll not win every trophy we go for, but you still feel like there's so much more than this group will achieve together.
It’s fantastic and they look hungry for more. We can’t hide away from the fact that our aim has to be to win the lot this year and go back to back with GF’s for the first time. With so many home games left, we’re in a good place to finish top 2 and you then give yourself a real crack at it. It’ll be far from easy but I’m sure they’ll give it one hell of a go.
I suppose I should have added 1987/88 and 1991/92 to that tally as well when we held the WCC, Championship, Premiership and Challenge Cup at the same time.
