Imperial was absolutely dog shit!Only about a fiver down though, had Zarkander in the first, Soldatino e/w, Join Together E/W, and Imperial Commander.
Nearly backed Long Run too, as long as one of them won I woulda been in profit but decided not to. He proved me wrong big style though, and at only 6 could be the king of jumps racing for many years.
My mate backed Long Run and he was always travelling very well. Now he has proved to me he handles Chelts there is no reason to oppose him in the future.
Left Baby Run as I thought the ground had got a bit quick for it, but was travelling well until the tip up! Zemsky also so difficult to say what would have won.
Happy for the Waley-Cohen's though, when asked about putting a pro on I read a quote from Robert once saying about how its his sons ride, win, lose or draw because it is a family horse first and foremost. I bet there is no prouder dad in the country today.
