I think we saw why Fury buggered off instead of fighting Price tonight. When you compare the shape they're both in it's astounding. Always had a little feeling a Fury fight would be a good scrap but tonight made my mind up, Price is a different level

He's even moving well, looking more and more like Wladimir K every time I see him, but much more aggressive. That right hand is dynamite as well!

Good effort that by Price - what I like is that he's got busy hands, even when he's not throwing shots. He doesn't just walk forward with his hands up then look to throw bombs.

The post fight discussion about whether right now is a good time to go after Vitali was interesting, I can see both points of view on that one. There's certainly no point him fighting at domestic level any more, so where is the next step up?

Personally, I think its too early. To be honest, Vitali will be gone before Price is ready and Wladimir looks the more likely title shot for him.

Price needs a couple of European level opponents and a fantastic piece of management would be to take him to the US to fight a decent standard Yank, who he could wipe out, both improving his ranking and also raising his profile in a potentially big market.

I think in 12-18 months Price will be ready for the world title shot and if he continues at this level, then the world's his oyster, because he is truly looking very impressive....He's on a par with how Lennox Lewis looked at this point in his career.

Is there much out there though in terms of European heavyweights?

Helenius? Pulev maybe for the European title?

I know both their names are dirt at the moment, but the winner of the Haye-Chisora bout would be a good fight for Price.

In fact, Haye would be a good indication of how good Price is.....His chin would probably be tested and if he came through it and defeated Haye in good style (which I think he could do), he would then be a very viable contender for a World title.

What impressed me most about Price's performance last night was his intelligence. He didn't feel the need to start throwing haymakers from the opening bell, instead boxing beautifully at range until he got the sniff and then went in for the kill. As i'm sure Sam Sexton will vouch, that was some knockout aswell.

After the fight Nelson and Bellew discussed whether he should go to fight a Klitschko immediately, with Bellew saying yes (especially Vitali) and Nelson disagreeing. I'd side with Nelson that it'd be very risky to take them on yet, instead I think he's best to face a good Top 10 or 5 ranked Heavyweight, maybe on American soil?

Far too good for Fury though and the way Fury couldn't relinquish his title fast enough to avoid Price shows that he knows just how good Price is now.

First time I've seen Price fight and he looked very impressive .Fast hands , Smart and a good jab . Great uppercut and a cracking right to knock his opponent out .

What about someone like Chris Arreola? I'd back Price by knockout tbh, but that says more about the HW division really. It's Klitschko or bum so it seems.

Side note, Roy Jones Junior to fight on the 30th June, in Poland, against some dude who is due to be serving jail time soon after the bout. So sad to see someone who was truly great still going like this
